In this blog post, we will outline a 5-night, 6-day itinerary that will help you explore this breathtaking park in detail.Day 1: Arrival in EntebbeYour trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park starts with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. From there, our guide will pick you and transfer you to your accommodation in Kampala. You will then spend the rest of the day resting and acclimatizing to the African weather.Day 2: Onward to Queen Elizabeth National ParkAfter breakfast, we will drive through the towns of Masaka and Mbarara, where you will have a chance to see some of the spectacular scenery of the Ugandan countryside. We will also stopover at the Equator for a brief photography session before proceeding to the park, where we will arrive at lunchtime. After lunch, we will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and plenty of birds.

Day 3: Game Drive in Kasenyi PlainsThis is the day when you will get to experience your first game drive in the park. You will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and then head out to Kasenyi Plains, where you will see lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, and many others. The game drive usually takes about 3-4 hours, after which we will return to the lodge to rest.Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura GorgeOn this day, you will have a chance to experience one of the most memorable activities in the park, chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura Gorge. The trek usually starts at 8.00 am, and the trek length varies depending on where the chimps are. You will see chimpanzees, baboons, colobus monkeys, and many other primates. After trekking, we will return to the lodge for lunch.Day 5: Game Drive in Ishasha PlainsAfter breakfast, we will head to Ishasha plains for another game drive, where you will have a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions. The Ishasha sector is also known for its stunning scenery, with its golden-savanna plains providing an incredible backdrop to the wildlife. After the game drive, we will return to the lodge to rest.

Day 6: DepartureOn your final day, you will have breakfast and then depart for Kampala or Entebbe International airport, depending on your travel arrangements.
