Your first morning in Hwange starts with an early wake-up call for a game drive into the park, where you will have the chance to spot some of the park’s famous wildlife, including elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and many more. After a refreshing breakfast in the bush, you can take a guided walk with the lodge’s expert guides to discover the smaller details of the area and learn more about the plants and smaller wildlife. In the afternoon, you can opt for another game drive or relax at the lodge.Day 3: Main camp visitToday, we will head to the park’s main camp, where you can learn about the park’s conservation and community programs, visit the park museum, and possibly even visit the elephant hides to watch elephants and other wildlife up close. Later in the afternoon, you will head back to the lodge for yet another incredible sunset and dinner.Day 4: Visit to Painted Dog Conservation CentreThe fourth day in Hwange starts with another early morning game drive, followed by a visit to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre, where you will learn about the conservation efforts to protect one of Africa’s most threatened species, the African Wild Dog. Here, you can observe the rehabilitation process of these incredible creatures and even interact with them in their natural surroundings. Later, you can return to the lodge for some relaxation before dinner.

Day 5: Night game drive and cultural experienceOn the fifth day, we will have a night game drive, where you will have the opportunity to see the nocturnal animals of the park that are not often seen during the day. This is truly a unique experience that will allow you to observe the behavior of the park’s predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards in action. After the game drive, we will have a cultural experience with a visit to a local village, where you can learn about the traditional lifestyles and customs of the locals.
